How Does Telehealth Work?

Telehealth is the delivery virtual medical, health and education services using electronic information and telecommunications technologies to provide patient care including the use of a computer, iPad or iPhone.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Yes, if the online Schedule page has an open appointment for the same day, and patient is private pay or insurance coverage is verified.

What is your new patient procedure?

Setting up a login for our Schedule page is the first step. New patients who have not received professional medical services from Texas Star Med Clinic within the last three years will need to complete a new patient form. The form includes the patient's medical history, which will enable the doctor to provide personalized medical care.

Are your services covered by my insurance?

Many commercial health plans have broadened coverage for telehealth services, as have Medicare and Medicaid.  Patients are asked to verify whether their policy covers telehealth services ahead of scheduling an appointment.
